Brian Jaehoon Lee was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. He immigrated by himself to the United States of America in 2002 and became a U.S citizen in 2018. Currently he resides in New Jersey, and works as a full time graphic designer for a clothing company in New York. He graduated in Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC as a fashion design major in 2013. He got selected as one of the twenty students out of 200 people, and his fashion illustrations were displayed at the FIT graduation exhibition in Dec 2012.

Since June 2017, Jaehoon participated in the Art Battle New York which is a famous art competition where lots of talented artists compete on a stage for 20min surrounded by huge crowds. He won three times as a champion (April 2018, July 2018, June 2019) and became a finalist seven times in the Art Battle New York. Recently, he does acrylic paintings for the upcoming exhibitions.

Jaehoon participated in the live model drawing events with FIT professors every Friday night during 2013~2015 in order to improve his quick watercolor painting skills. Professor Stipelman has been always a mentor of Jaehoon since he took Stipelman's class in 2012 at FIT. Steven Stipelman is a world-famous fashion illustrator and was the chairman of fashion illustration department in FIT. Steven Stipelman, Bil Donovan, Rene Gruau and David Downton have been his inspirations and idols at all the time.

Jaehoon broadened his perspectives in art subjects and methods out of fashion drawings since 2013. He has been drawing with micron pens and watercolor pencils everyday with his Moleskine sketchbook which he could easily carry to everywhere such as cafes, parks, and streets in NYC. He doodles a lot and tries to capture the moments that he gets inspired into a quick drawing. He enjoys drawing the subjects of what he sees, dreams, memorizes, suffers emotionally from all kind of obstacles. Jaehoon always focuses on getting inspired from other artists such as musicians, painters, and writers in order to transfer to his own language of arts. He also appreciates the beauty of nature and often tries to reflect it into his drawings and paintings.
